Award-winning CIR Realtor Nancy Ball was introduced to real estate as a child when her parents flipped homes in Calgary and she has been hooked ever since as a buyer, seller, Realtor and, most recently, in the highly specialized area of home staging. She then invested in the market herself at age 21, learning first hand what it’s like to risk your own capital. A native Calgarian, Nancy graduated from Mount Royal College in the Real Estate Agents’ Program where she received a Marketing Management Diploma. The program was invaluable in rounding out her expertise. She puts her clients’ needs first, a philosophy which has paid off both for her and – more importantly – for her many happy customers. In less than two years of being a Realtor, she became one of CIR Realty South’s ‘Top 5 Producers’. “It’s very important to put yourself in the client’s place at all times and earn their trust,” Nancy comments. “If I say I’m going to do something it will be done. I value my clients and want to be their Realtor for life!” Of course, as a Realtor in Calgary, Nancy is busy, but community development, volunteering and fundraising events remain a priority for her. “I haven’t lost focus on what’s important, and for me that includes giving back,” Nancy says. She has been on the Glamorgan Community Association Board of Directors since March 0f 2004, where she coordinates the “Fun Money Casino Night & Silent Auction every October. “We’ve raised thousands of dollars and we’ve built a new rink for the community. It’s a lot of fun, and it’s so nice to see the community benefiting from all the hard work!” In order to broaden her own professional horizons and indeed the scope of the services she’s able to provide for her clients, Nancy networks with Realtors from across North America. “I often have clients looking to invest or move outside of Calgary, and with the networking I’ve done, I can reach out to the contacts I have knowing their services are an extension of the services I provide,” Nancy says.
